4 x 4 Watercolor Collage and Tutorial!!!!

Here is a tutorial using my 4 x 4 challenge using watercolors for 4 x 4 Friday!

Tutorial:

supplies:
Ecoline inks - orange and sepia
white gesso
watercolor paper
Quietfire quote stamp
Quietfire flourish
distress ink
black dye ink
collage image - Lisa's Altered Arts
script stamp
cutter/scissors
foam brush

instructions:
-cut a 4 x 4 square of watercolor paper (make sure one side has a smooth surface as this will be the side you are working on)
-with foam brush, lightly brush on Ecoline watercolors - up and down and across until you get the look you want. let piece dry.
-using distress ink, stamp script on 4 x 4
-using black ink, stamp flourish in 2 corners and quote as shown
-trim collage image and add to 4 x 4
-with foam brush, randomly add gesso to piece
